The most important rule we have here is to have fun. However in order for us to keep the league running smoothly and keep it fun for everyone we must have a few rules. We ask that all members cooperate and follow the rules at all times.
PLAYING NAME
Your pogo name should be as close as possible to your league name. If for any reason it is not, please inform the TD on duty and make sure he or she gives the ok for another name to be used.
If you continually use another name please ask staff for help to change your league name to match.
Please listen to the TD, and abide by any decisions made by the TD. If there is a dispute or you feel a decision made is not fair please raise the matter with an admin at a later time. We ask that you do NOT disrupt the tour or argue with the TD at any time.
ABUSE
We have a no tolerance policy on abusive behaviour and vulgar language:
1. You will be asked to cease and desist;
2. You will be warned;
3. You will be dq’d from the tourney.
LOBBY DISTURBANCES
When ever there is a problem person in the lobby, members are asked to either ignore them or mute them. If a member adds to the disturbance they will be penalized.
This can include being DQ’d or boxed.
EUCHRE ETIQUETTE
If you go alone on 9 you may be dq’d (at the TD’s discretion you may be warned if new or unaware of the rule otherwise it’s a DQ). Going alone on 8 is not penalized as it can be a legitimate strategy to win the game. At NO time is this counted as a 2 point error it is either a DQ or a warning according to the TD's decision
TIMING / CLOCKING
If you poof during a game you have 10 minutes in total per tournament to return,
(clock will be stopped when you return and are showing as JOINED the table).
If you poof again clock will be resumed from whatever time it was stopped at
(TD's will use Cases boot timer or similar).
If you do not return at all within 10 mins you will have to be dq’d from the tourney.
(Clock does NOT stop at the end of the round).
This time is reduced to 5 minutes for quickie games.
If a member poofs and does not play any cards at all in a round (game) and the round ends without them rejoining then they will NOT advance. The player is dq'd regardless of the time involved in the round.
If you get booted 3 times during the tourney you will be dq’d
Members have 5 mins to get to the table once pairs are called ,
(playing a ladder, or rated game, jumping and not joining
the room, or going afk and not joining table within 5 mins of being called will all cause you to be DQ'd). The exception to this is if a member was in the lobby and poofs, in which case the 10 min (or 5 min) rule applies.
